Green Aviation: Credible ‘green’ marketing strategies vs Greenwashing
As the aviation industry initiates its decarbonization strategies to meet regulatory or voluntary objectives, or to respond to clients’ demand (especially in business aviation), airlines and air charters struggle to prove and effectively ‘market’ material achievements.
Scrutiny on environmental claims is legitimately growing, and as such, robust ‘green’ business and marketing strategies aligned with best practices and stricter regulation are key (and possible) to avoiding the risk of a backlash, which could harm a company’s reputation and financial revenues.
